The total study load (180 credits) will be fulfilled by compulsory courses (146 credits in total), compulsory elective courses (30 credits in total, of which languages account for at least 16 credits) and elective courses (of their choice, at least 4 credits).

The student has a choice of three blocks of compulsory elective courses.
For compulsory electives, students must earn a minimum of 30 credits during their studies. In doing so, he/she shall choose at least one foreign language from the second foreign language offer in each semester except the sixth semester. For the second foreign language, the student must earn a minimum of 16 credits over the entire period of study.
In addition, the student shall choose a subject from the offer which broadens and deepens the knowledge acquired in the compulsory subjects, namely:

The student is required to take two foreign languages.
Additional languages may be enrolled as electives according to the student's interest and current offerings.
Full-time students are obliged by the Study and Examination Regulations of the VŠPJ to study one of the courses in a foreign language. The Department of Tourism currently offers the following foreign language courses:
