The Department of Tourism of the University of Applied Sciences participated in one project of the International Visegrad Fund in 2022. Currently, the department is not working on an International Visegrad Fund project.

Tourism for All. Best Practice of V4 Countries

Annotation:

This project aims to promote and initiate accessible tourism in the V4 countries. The project presents examples of good practice and proven solutions across the spectrum of tourism facilities (cultural and natural tourist attractions, accommodation and catering facilities, transport) that could be used by a wide range of other tourism enterprises. The project also emphasises building social awareness, creating sustainable values and goals, and networking and exchanging experiences. The project leads to development and knowledge creation in the field of accessible tourism as one as an important tool with high social, economic and health importance for local societies.
