Exchange visits of students and academic staff of Uzhhorod National University and Jihlava Polytechnic University

The Vysočina Region and the Transcarpathian Region of Ukraine are partner regions. Within the framework of this partnership, the VŠPJ has established contacts with Uzhhorod National University.
In March 2013 in Uzhhorod, a meeting of representatives of Uzhhorod National University and the Polytechnic University of Jihlava was held under the leadership of the then rectors.
The two schools agreed that one of the joint activities would be weekly student exchanges. This type of cooperation was implemented by the Jihlava Department of Tourism and the Faculty of Tourism of Uzhhorod National University until 2019.
In 2020 and 2021, the exchange visits of students from both universities were suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 2022, VŠPJ implemented a workshop on the territory of the Czech Republic and welcomed Ukrainian students.

Collaboration between the two schools continues despite the adverse security situation, in the form of participation in student conferences, etc.
